Here is Willam Cale Hammitt. He will go by Cale. He was born April 12th. Weighed 7pds 11oz and was 21 1/2 long! Don't ask me where he got the length from!!??!! I know now why my ribs hurt so bad at the end! He looks exactly like his big bothers baby pics. He is also a really good baby so far! We are praying that last!
So everyone around here keeps telling me that these aren't "REAL" snows and I should just wait until there is one. Casen and Kinley don't know the difference and they LOVE it! When it snows, there is no dragging them inside all day. Most of the time not even to eat!
Yesterday and after school. It was cold and windy. The snow was blowing sideways. BUT they didn't seem to care!
Ok so we had a very busy August. First my family came to see us and we had a week full of fun, exciting times! Kinley turned 4 and we had a small family party for her! Both of the kids started school. Casen is in Kindergarten and Kinley goes to pre-school 2 days a week. We bought a tent and decided to"camp out" in the backyard to try it out!
A few weeks ago I drove with the kids to Missouri from Colorado to hang out with Ben's parents. Ben's Dad, or Papaw has built a water slide down the back of his house for the kids to play on! It is fast, long and really fun! Casen loved it! I couldn't get him off of it the days we were there. Kinley...well...she didn't like it so much. I finally got her to go a little more than halfway up the slide and she fell off the tube at the bottom and wouldn't do it again. She was just happy playing in the water at the bottom.
My Little Fish! Casen and Kinley have been taking swim lessons for the past two weeks. Today was their last session. I was a little worried when Kinley started that she was going to run from her instructor. I'm pretty sure that is what I did when I first took lessons, according to my mom. But she has done great! She will finally put her head under the water. Before these lessons, she would freak-out during bath time when water would go into her face! They were actually sad when the lessons ending today, so I signed them up for another sessions later in the summer!
Their goggles crack me up!
They even taught them boat safety and practiced with life jackets!
